Your decal arrives pre-spaced and aligned on a paper backing with semi-transparent transfer tape. Because it is rolled for packaging, gently smooth it flat before application.
1. Choose the location.
Select a clean, smooth area on the outside of the window. Do not place the decal on a retractable window or directly in the path of windshield wipers.
2. Clean the surface.
Clean the application area thoroughly with window cleaner and allow it to dry completely. Avoid applying the decal when the glass is hot from direct sunlight. For best results, apply when the temperature is at least 55°F.
3. Remove the paper backing.
Place the decal face down on a flat surface. Slowly peel away the thick paper backing at a sharp angle, leaving the decal adhered to the transfer tape.
4. Position and apply.
Hold the transfer tape taut and carefully align the decal with the application surface. Press the decal and transfer tape onto the glass, making sure there are no wrinkles or creases.
5. Smooth the decal.
Starting at the center, use a squeegee or flexible straight-edge tool to press the decal onto the surface with firm, overlapping strokes. Work outward toward the edges, keeping the decal completely flat.
6. Remove the transfer tape.
Starting at an edge, slowly peel the transfer tape away at a sharp, low angle. If part of the decal lifts with the tape, lay the tape back down, press and smooth the area again, then continue. A fingernail can be used to hold down an edge if needed.
For the best durability, allow the decal to set for a couple of days before washing your vehicle. Never scrape the decal with a snow scraper or other sharp tool.
Tip: Proper surface preparation, moderate temperature, firm squeegee pressure, and slow transfer-tape removal are key to achieving a smooth, bubble-free application.
